CYBERSECURITY
The cybersecurity is the practice of protect your intelligent systems, networks and software from cyberthreads, which their main focus is to modified or get acces to your personal data that can be really dangerous if you contain fragile information like bank accounts, in our modern world there are so many diffetent types of malwares now, from the ones that are really easy to detect to the difficult ones, that is why on this cybersecurity project we will disccuss about how to deal with these threads and what type of threads are the most common.
What it is a Malware?
This is a software that could be easily unseen because it disguise pretending to be a normal software that the user is requirering, installing it on your device hackers can easily get information and spy on your documents and have acces to all your data.
How to avoid any threats?
People is not aware of important and crucial that is having an effective protection to threads in a society where technology is on every corner, Hackers usually look for the most vulnerable devices to access them that is why having a good antivirus that is reliable it is important but it is not a complete solution even though still effective for the most part. The good thing a bout modern anti-virus it is that they offer features that can detect unseen threats like malwares that can be invisible and not caught.
“Strong passwords are the main barrier keeping most of your online accounts from being hacked” (Kapersky, 2023) by having a strong password you reduce yourself from being exposed within hours, weakness in your accounts are attackers first place to steal personal data, the ways they can get acces on your accounts vary from “Phising” (spamming messages or emails pretending to be someone else) to “Brute force attacks” (automated programs that generate any combination in common ways).
The real question is how to create a proper password to avoid these problems, avoid easy sequences or common words as “password1” also is recommendable to use different symbols if possible as well as uppercase and lower case words, a good way to protect you even more is to change normal words into number for example “T” to “7” and for the most principal is not to repeat the same passwords in every account, try to use a verified app that can storage passwords for you.
